VA BIRDers,
A Red-necked Grebe was mixed in with scores of Gadwall, Ruddy Ducks, and
Lesser Scaup off and eastish from the Occoquan Marina, where the Occoquan
River opens up into Belmont Bay. Also noted today was Pine Warbler foraging
for bugs in leaf litter off the Mason Neck SP road and a Common Loon close
to shore at Riverside Park, Fairfax Co (nr Mt Vernon).
