We have been trying to find "our" RED-SHOULDERED HAWK'S nest for a month. This
morning Joyce told me they were being very vocal so I went looking. I was able
to observe them putting the finnishing touch on the nest, a green pine twig.
They built the nest in the same tree as last year.
A few days ago we saw a pair of WOOD DUCKS checking hollows high in th trees.
Among the regulars at the feeders we are seeing HERMIT THRUSH, Y B SAPSUCKER,
RUBY-CROWNED KINGLET, HAIRY WOODPECKER, WINTER WREN, FOX SPARROW and BLUE BIRD.
