I spend about 2 hours out around Reston this afternoon to basically get the
dog out and about,
but was rewarded with a few noteworthy birds.
Lake Fairfax
Fox Sparrow - hedgerow between the Hunt Club and western border of park
American Pipits - 15 walking around In Water Mine parking area, very easy to
overlook
Eastern Phoebe - also had one at Sunrise Valley wetlands
Northern Pintail - Pair along ice edge in the finger of lake closest to
entrance
Myrtle Warblers - quite a few at both Sunrise and Lake Fairfax.
