VA-Birders,
The Riverbend Park meadow (Fairfax County) today started slow but picked up as
the sun rose higher in the sky. Early on there were two ROSE-BREASTED
GROSBEAKS, a warblers included PARULA, a BLACK-AND-WHITE, MAGNOLIA, COMMON
YELLOWTHROAT, and REDSTART. I was later joined by Ralph Wall and we watched
additional species including two NASHVILLE, CHESTNUT-SIDED, BLACK-THROATED
BLUE, BLACK-THROATED GREEN, and a WILSON'S. Things were still heating up when
I had to leave, so I imagine Ralph saw more good things.
