Birders -
Several of us went to the meadow at Riverbend this morning.  It has changed
considerably since I was there last.  NO trees in the meadow.  The birdlife
was most active along the field's trees (at the edges) alongside the entrance
road before you make the sharp right to the parking lot.

We had a reasonably good couple of hours,  The birds:

Flycatchers included a LEAST, a couple of TRAILLS, GREAT CRESTED, PEWEE;
Warblers were TENNESSEE; CHESTNUT-SIDED, MAGNOLIA, BLACK &
WHITE, and COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.

Vireos - several RED-EYED, YELLOW-THROATED (which gave us problems
initially since it remained hidden most of the time) and the Bird of the Day -
PHILIADELPHIA.  Yea!

Also a few BALTIMORE ORIOLES, INIDGO BUNTINGS and the usual suspects.
