We are happy to report in Blue Ridge we saw our first purple finch of the
season . we also spotted a red headed woodpecker on Mt. Pass Road
approximate. 1 mile past the parkway bridge on the way to Troutville. Our red
breasted
nuthatches(2) are still hanging around the feeders.
