Weather:
Very interesting and constantly changing weather today!  A beautiful fog
ocean on the east side of the gap this morning but the gap itself and the
entire west side were clear.  Drizzles between 9-10am.  Hazy early becoming
very clear this afternoon.  Light SW Breezes early with moderate West Winds
after 11am.  Varying 20-95% cloud cover throughout the day with all
different types of clouds.  Warm (17.1-19.8C).  

Raptor Observations:
Slow but steady with flight dominated by SS.  Almost all birds were flying
fast and low down the east side of the gap.  Several highlight birds all
gave great views today: two Bald Eagles (12:24 adult and 1:39 3rd-YR), two
Harriers (9:15 IMM and 10:12 adult female), and one Merlin (3:28).  First
Raptor: 9:15 NH, Last Raptor: 3:52 SS. 

Non-raptor Observations:
A big non-raptor flight today including: 1 Common Loon, 45 DC Cormorants (a
single bird & flock of 44), 1 Flicker, 193 Fish Crows, 1 Horned Lark, 2 GC
Kinglets, 4 Bluebirds, 2,330 Robins, 890 Waxwings, 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler,
418 RW Blackbirds, 1 Rusty Blackbird, 29 Grackles, 1 Pine Siskin, 73
Goldfinches, and 8 Monarch Butterflies.
