Weather:
Very cold (2-4C temps) with strong N winds all day. Mostly sunny (5% cloud
cover). Clear visibility.
Raptor Observations:
The cold north winds brought us plenty of eagles today! Counter Dave Shoch
reported "Golden Eagles will warm you up on a cold day!" Four Golden Eagles
at 12:10 (unaged), 12:59 (immature), 1:40 (immature), and 3:50 (immature).
Four Bald Eagles at 11:58 (adult), 12:10 (adult), 1:59 (4th-YR), and 3:55
4th-YR. Seven Red-shouldered Hawks also helped make it a great day! Most
birds were heading southwest.
Non-raptor Observations:
2 Common Loon, 4 Tundra Swan, 8 Ring-billed Gull
