Weather:
Strong and gusty WNW Winds! 9.7-6.8C temps. A few clouds early than an
all blue sky after 12pm. Clear visibility.
Raptor Observations:
Plenty of action throughout the day to keep us entertained, with a lot of
birds flying fast and low due to the high winds. Two immature Northern
Harriers flew across the gap side-by-side at 10:17am. Another excellent
Bald Eagle day with 15: 11 adults (10:59, 10:59, 11:11, 12:27, 12:52,
12:52, 12:55, 12:58, 12:58, 1:06, 3:43), and 4 immature (12:45 2nd-YR,
12:48 1st-YR, 1:50 unaged immature, 3:25 2nd-YR).
Non-raptor Observations:
27 Fish Crows, 95 Waxwings, 30 Grackles, 12 Goldfinches.
