Visitors:
Barak Brashear, Buzz Van Santvoord (Orange County), and a few others who's
names were not recorded.


Weather:
Cooler today with 11.0-23.3C temperature range. The sky was cloudless all
morning and then suddenly by 1pm and beyond it was 50-60% cloud cover.
Moderate WNW winds early switching to mild E breezes after 2pm. Very clear
visibility.

Raptor Observations:
A nice, continuous trickle of birds all day. More Peregrine Falcons than
Bald Eagles today! Four Peregrines: 10:30 imm, 1:55 imm, 2:13 ad, 2:30 ad.
Two Bald Eagles, both adult, at 10:05 and 11:15. Many of the Osprey flew
right overhead in great view! The Peregrines all gave great looks high up,
sometimes making a couple circles before zooming southward.

Non-raptor Observations:
3 hot air balloons early. 70 Monarchs. Lot of birds moving in the morning
including: 26 Swifts, 3 Hummingbirds, 4 Red-headed Woodpecker, 1 Sapsucker,
86 Flicker, 404 Blue Jay, 20 Tree Swallow, 5 Raven, 1 Blue-headed Vireo, 2
Tennessee Warbler, 48 Waxwing. Many many unidendified warblers flying
through the gap all day.
