Hello all
Today on my way up to Charles Town W Va. to see the White - cheeked Pintail (
this is a very nice looking duck & I did notice that it has the back claw ) I
stopped off at Leonard's Pond to lok for the White - rumped Sandpiper . Could
not find the bird but I did see about 20+ killdeer & a few Green - winged Teal
. On my way home from a little R & R with the slot machines I stopped by Lake
Shanandoah . There I found about a dozen Coot & one Pied - billed Grebe . After
that I went back by Leonard's Pond & after looking thru the 60+ Killdeer I
located the White - rumped Sandpiper . In all of the Killdeer I found a partial
albino Killdeer . It had a very light whitish tan body with the black neck
rings . A very neat looking bird .
