In one hour this morning at Runnymede Park (in Herndon, Fairfax County) I found small numbers, but a nice variety including a couple or 3 probable migrant warbler species and 4 woodpecker sp.

The behavioral highlight was in the parking lot on Herndon Parkway, where a Pine Warbler gave vigorous chase to a Bluebird. The latter joined a group of 3 others on one side of the parking lot. The Pine Marauder perched low on a pine on the other side, then proceeded up that tree, then up a neighboring pine. He was patrolling the area near his namesake trees.
