During a late afternoon stroll at Huntley Meadows I noted a flock of blackbirds
sitting up high in the trees at the beginning of the boardwalk. 48 of them
turned out to be Rusty Blackbirds. The rest were Red-winged Blackbirds Also
of note at the park were two Great Egrets, paired up Wood Ducks and Hooded
Mergansers, Northern Shovelers, Green-winged Teal and a lone American Wigeon.
