Hello all
After hearing about the 2 Sandhill Cranes in Louisa County late yesterday
afternoon , I took off this morning to see if they hung around . When I arrived
at 08:50 Fenton Day was looking for them & just as I was parking the vehicle ,
I saw both Cranes take to the air . Shortly after the Cranes when over one of
the hills Andrew Rapp came in . All of us waited around & just at 10 or a
little after both Sandhill's came into view . They stayed for at least
45minutes & then they both flew back over the hill . The area is on East Jack
Jouette Rd. & they were up in the top of the corn field where the two farm
tractors are . If traveling you go to I 64 & exit at Zions Crossroads exit 136
& go north on Rt 15 . Other birds heard or seen are listed below but not in
order .
