Hi,
This afternoon (Sept 15, 2018) I ventured out to go check a few spots for
shorebirds and my plan was to first bird at the Occoquan Sewage Plant (UOSA)
(Fairfax County) and then continue further. But there were a few new terns at
UOSA and after a lot of time at this one location I returned home eager to
consult my birding books.
Upon reviewing my notes from the field and the photos that I took, it does seem
to me that this new group of seven Terns that I saw was a group of Sandwich
Terns (SATE) !

I would love to hear your thoughts about the identification/presence of these
Terns.
