The strong winds and clearing skies were conducive to waterfowl travel, and
thus the Surf Scoter that has been at Lake Frederick since Monday (plus its one
day partner) were nowhere to be found this morning. Also gone are the Common
Goldeneyes, Redheads, Scaup, Mergansers. There is one Common Loon still present
and the male Long-tailed Duck. New arrivals were 2 Horned Grebes. Today's list
below.
