This morning I surveyed the marsh along Bay Tree Beach Rd in Seaford.
This is part of the Western Shore Marshes IBA and is typically a good place to
find Clapper Rails. I was a little early, as the tide was just starting to
go out. By the time I left, the rails were actively calling and flying to
the channels. Once the rain stopped, two Seaside Sparrows made an
appearance and a third was calling.
