I forgot to enter my sighting of a female Northern Harrier today near Smith's
Pond .

Hello all
This morning Pat & I did our usual rounds in Augusta County . Over on Rt 876
where it intersects with Rt. 602 the Sedge Wrens are still actively singing .
Upon our arrival we met Brenda Tekin taking more pics of the Sedge Wren that
likes to perch up on the fence . Also Brenda had in the possible "rookery " of
G B Heron a good number of them whiched totaled 15+ . While I was there I
counted at least 10 but some were in the creek out of view . Other finds today
are listed below with the finds on Rt 876 .
Rt. 876 Glebe School Rd.
G B Heron -- 15+
Sedge Wren -- 2 with a possible third bird .
Bobolink -- 10 -- fledged young

Wood Duck -- 1
Spotted Sandpiper -- 1
Quillen's
G B Heron -- 1
Great Egret -- 3
McCune's
G B Heron -- 2
Stuarts Draft Treatment Plant
Green Heron -- 1

Green Heron -- 1
Dupont Pond
Black Crowned Night Heron -- 1
Also in the Swoope area on Livick Rd.( Rt. 707 ) Pat & I had 2 adult Bobwhite &
on Trimbles Mill Rd . ( Rt. 705 ) we had 2 adult Bobwhite with 6 young & a
Blue Grosbeak singing near the bridge .
Not a bad day of bird watching in Augusta County .
