Hey Birders,
We thought we would re-visit Sherwood Lakes today. The Canada Geese flew to
the smaller lake, taking a couple of Ruddy Ducks with them. Guess they just
wanted to keep the pair of *Common Loons* company. We were very surprised
and managed to get a couple of halfway decent pictures. Email me if you are
interested in seeing them. The Redhead Duck was still present with lots of
Scaups & Ruddy Ducks. Got a few pictures of it as well although the lighting
was not great.
We went to the Whitehurst Tract after and saw LOTS of water there! Pintail,
Shoveler, Mallard, Canada Geese and Yellowlegs were present along with a
Bald Eagle, Merlin and Red-tail Hawk.
Not a bad day.
