[va-bird] Shorebirds at Staunton River State Park including a Piping Plover

Greetings to all:

This morning 09/04/05 at Staunton River State Park a total of 11 species of
shorebirds were seen including a Piping Plover.  Following is a list of what
was seen:

Bald Eagle - 3 (1A2I)
Osprey - 1
Blk Vulture - 30
Turkey Vulture 20
Am Crow - 30
Fish Crow - heard
G B Heron - 15
G Egret - 15
D C Cormorant  - 2
Ring-billed Gull - 20
Common Tern - 1
Killdeer - 25
Piping Plover - 1
Sempalmated Plover - 8
Black-bellied Plover - 2
S B Dowitcher - 4
G Y Legs -2
L Y Legs -2
Pectorial Sandpiper - 10
Solitary Sandpiper - 2
Least Sandpiper - 1 good enough to seen it yellow legs
Peeps - 30
Sanderling - 15
Red Headed Woodpecker - 4
BG Gnat - 2
Carolina Chickadee -2
T Titmouse - 2
WB Nuthatch - 1
R E Vireo - 2
Carolina Wren - 2
