Weather:
Little or no wind and variable when it did show up. High, thin overcast
covered anywhere from 10% to 100% of the sky throughout the day.

A Red-headed Woodpecker, a few Ruby-throated Hummers and lots of Cedar
Waxwings were the expected. At 3:45 a string of 35 Common Nighthawks
slipped through the gap weaving their way from east to west just above the
tree tops on the north side of the road.
