Visitors:
Audubon Naturalist Society/Montgomery Bird Club trip today with eight
hearty souls braving the dreary weather. Thank you for your interest: the
two Marys, the two Elaines, Stella, Nathan, Donald, and Jack.
Weather:
Completely socked in early on. Mostly cloudy with higher clouds by 1
o'clock.
Raptor Observations:
A showing of some of our raptor species in the midday hours and a few
kettles later in the day, many wasting no time with us and streaming past.
Non-raptor Observations:
Several good warbler and other migrant species up the trail and in the
woods behind us.
Predictions:
Hopes for lots and lots of Broadwings tomorrow.
