Weather:
Nice brisk west wind after last night's 2" rain. Mostly cloudy until
mid-day, then clearing to mostly blue sky.

Raptor Observations:
Unexpected but enjoyable Broadwing lift off between 9:22 and 9:48. Birds
must have spent the cold, rainy night just up the ridge from us. The warm
morning sun got them up and quickly out of here to the SW. Then the
Sharpies started. One of the Peregrines flew with a bulging, full crop.

Non-raptor Observations:
Ravens 13, Black Vultures 18, Blue Jays only 7. Monarchs 2.
