Having spoken with several people, I have compiled a small list of
interesting sightings for the Northern Virginia area this past week. I added
to the list a few of my own feeble efforts. Included are a few early and
late sightings for some species.

(10-35 mph) from the north I observed the following between 1030 and 1130 on

Osprey 4 (one high flyer - migrating?)
Bald Eagle 1
Cooper's Hawk 1 (prob. migrating)
Red-tailed Hawk 5 (2 were prob. migrating)
Am. Kestrel 1 (prob. migrating)
Savannah Sparrow 1
Junco 14
