Hello all
This morning I got out early just at day break to see what came in over the
night . This cold front is moving thru our area with a lot of birds being
pushed thru . Today I checked out the following areas where birds can be found
. Swoope area , Aug. Wetlands , Stuarts Draft area , South River Perserve ,
Bells Lane & Montgomery Hall Park , Staunton where I used to live ,
Fishersville , Waynesboro at Dupont ponds , Quillens , Rt. 610 & part of Blue
Ridge Parkway & I finished at my property at 4 :45 pm. Below is a list of
birds & their numbers are from thru out the County . Not a bad day of bird
watching in Aug. Co.

**Summer Tanager -- 1 my yard Very late date -- This bird had a long heavy
bill an over all greenish yellow color with a yellowish under tail color
.Around base of under tail rump area a slight reddish color . Wing pattern
almost blended in with body .
