Over the past two weeks an assortment of spring migrating sparrows have visited
our backyard feeders. They include: Fox Sparrow (3), Song Sparrow (2),
Rufous-sided Towhee (2), Field Sparrow (2), Chipping Sparrow (3), and Tree
Sparrow (2). There are still a lot of Juncos, Gold Finches, and Pine Siskins.
Also of interest were Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers (2), Purple Finches (2), and
the ever popular Cowbirds (4).
