Well, it only took 21 years to find a Swallow-tailed Kite at College Creek
Hawkwatch! This morning, Bill Williams and I watched as one overtook a group of
7 Turkey Vultures crossing the James River, then circled for several minutes on
the north shore, with a group of 20+ vultures, Bald Eagles and Ospreys, before
gaining altitude and heading north.
