Hello All,
I received a posting from a birder friend who lives in the Springfield /
Burke area about a kite sighting, so they are there somewhere.
Here is her email to me.
"I was at the library over on Sydenstricker and saw one of the kites flying
nearby overhead. Got out to look at it....then noticed there were 2 others
flying with it! They seemed to be riding thermals and one was calling
some. They eventually got very high...
I guess Burke is now their home - at least for breeding... "
