I hope it is okay to inject this tidbit for the interest of the birders who
came to Union Springs today.
This evening four deer came into the yard and followed the footprints of you
birders, pulling grass from where your tracks had melted clear. They fed for
quite a while. It was interesting to see them walking along your footprints.
Not once did they paw at the snow. We have not been seeing them feeding in
our yard, so this was quite a surprise to us.
