Today my job took me through Isle of Wight county heading towards Suffolk.
Just past Smithfield in one of the fields was what I thought were many
buzzards but no, they were turkey. I would have to say there were at least
25. A mixture of toms and hens from what I could tell. I have never seen so
many turkey together at one time so it just seems fitting to call the group
by its correct name. A Rafter of Turkey fits quite well and turkey seem to
be doing very well in I O W county.
