We’re launching the 2019 VA BBA article series with a story that reminds us of
the value of communities grown from our shared love of birds…
Bob Biersack spent 30 years as a spokesperson and statistician for the Federal
Elections Commission. Moving to Rockbridge County in 2012, he discovered a
passion for birding. Block-busting for the VABBA2 has been like icing on the
cake.
To read more about Biersack’s birding journey and block-busting efforts, visit:

And stay tuned for next week’s article, Atlas Priorities for 2019, where we’ll
delve into project goals for our fourth field season and different ways that
volunteers can have a big impact for the VABBA2 in 2019.
Lastly, don’t forget to tune in to the Atlas Facebook Group to share your field
stories, post Atlasing questions, and see what other members of the community
are up to: https://www.facebook.com/groups/VABBA2/
Stay dry and happy birding this weekend!
