Yesterday and today I had a pair of Baltimore Orioles in my yard, and the male,
like your Flickers, tried out the suet! He drank from the hummingbird feeder,
ate oranges, and even went to the peanut feeder and took a peanut. I'll be

Hello everyone!
In addition to the normal feeder birds, I had some extra company outside today.
One Sharp-Shinned Hawk paid a visit but, as best I could tell, left empty
taloned. I last saw it heading south across the marsh. (No new photos today.)
I also had a new observation, at least for me. An adult Female Northern
Flicker visited one of the suet feeders and had a feast. I have never seen one
eating from my suet feeder before. And last but not least, 14 + American
Robins stopped by to check out the Holly berries. This is the second year, at
about this same time, that I have seen them on the Hollies.
