The Central Loudoun CBC is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 29. The count
welcomes both exp'd and beginning birders, including kids, and you can bird
the entire day or just a part.
The Central Loudoun CBC covers Loudoun County from the western edge of
Ashburn to just east of Round Hill and runs from Waterford in the north to a
little north of Aldie in the south. Some of it is suburban while other
parts are still relatively rural. In addition to visiting several natural
areas we are fortunate to get permission to also visit several large
estates. Some of the sectors are covered by lots of walking while others
are done by mostly driving.
We will also hold a Tally Rally at the end of the day at Morven Park. All
participants are welcome.

Each season the VSO lists Christmas Bird Counts on the VSO web site. We do
this to help with your early planning as National Audubon usually publishes
