Here's a photo I took of the Common Moorhen at Huntley Meadows yesterday.

Subject: [Va-bird] Common Moorhen - Huntley Meadows
We also saw the Common Moorhen today although it was in the cattails to the
right if you were on the central stopping place on the boardwalk. Others saw it
there about 1 pm and we saw it around 2 pm (thanks to the naturalist from
Huntley Meadows who got it in a scope and pointed it out to everyone!) It stuck
around for maybe 15 minutes and then disappeared in the reeds. It hadn't been
seen again when we left an hour or so later but probably came out again later.
Bottom line is it could be in any of the cattail patches near open water.
