Super exciting bird day (for me)!
I did some back yard birding as well as hitting the Virginia Aquarium. None of
these birds were held in captivity, all were outside of the aviary.

Downy Woodpecker
Red-bellied Woodpecker
Carolina Chickadee
Northern Cardinal
House Finch
Yellow-Rumped Warbler
Pine Sisken
White-Throated Sparrow
American Robin
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Brown Pelican
Brown-Headed Cowbird
Mourning Dove
European Starling
Turkey Vulture
Carolina Wren
Dark-Eyed Junco
Eastern Bluebird
*on my lazy list, I claimed a Black Capped Chickadee. I have not been able to
verify that's what it was. I've seen them many times while in Rhode Island and
asked for guidance on how to tell them apart from the Carolina. I was told the
songs were noticeably different. I may have mistaken the song for the white
throated Sparrow. I apologize for the mistake and I want everyone to know I
wasn't trying to be deceptive.
