I thought there might be 4 tri-colors, but I wasn't sure if one had just
moved while I was following the road around. The wetlands extend back
pretty far out of view. Who knows what else might be back there!

Subject: [Va-bird] Crewe's Channel
We went by Crewe's Channel after 5pm and saw that there are now 4 Tricolored
Herons.
There weren't as many Great Egrets. I would imagine they've managed to catch
a lot of the fish and frogs.
Yesterday, there was a pair of mature Bald Eagles vying for a spot on the
large dead tree in the center. There are still quite a few shorebirds, but
they scattered when the Eagles flew in. Without a scope, I can't ID many of
them.
My apologies to those of you who attempted to view my Crewe's Channel
images. Somehow the gallery was locked. It is now unlocked for anyone who is
interested..
