Subject: [Va-bird] Field Trip to Mason Neck SP and NWR
VA BIRDers,
Thanks to kind permissions granted by Mason Neck SP and Mason Neck NWR, a
field trip will take place Sunday, Oct 4 (weather permitting). We will
start near sunrise at the phase II fields and other areas behind the locked
gates. The phase II area is known to be a fine migrant trap (when the
weather cooperates) and we hope to find late and early fall migrants!
Contact me for additional details and to get a slot on this trip - good
footwear are needed and the grass can be very wet!
