And what a lovely surprise it was to bump into Jay and Carol in the meadow!
We had some good birding for an hour or so, and after we parted ways, I
picked up a Pine Warbler and a Yellow Warbler (as well as a couple of
unidentified migrating passerines). Get 'em while the gettin's good!

With all the reports about migrants on the move, we paid a visit to
Riverbend Park's meadow this morning. We got there at 7:30 and the fog
didn't lift until shortly after 8. But when it did, the birds were very
active. Brian Peters joined us for the latter part of our visit.
