I looked briefly for the Fork-tailed Flycatcher at about 12:30pm today. Could not find it during a drive around the area. I heard the Dickcissel sing a few times, but could not see him. I saw a female American Kestrel along Hertz Road. I also saw Bill Keith, but he had no positive report of the flycatcher either. Bill said that he saw a male American Kestrel along Hertz Road. Sounds as if there is a pair.
