It was slow going at Great Falls, no doubt, but the Merlin was completely
worth it!

Our group of seven tallies 37 species. The highlight of the day was a very
cooperative merlin -- the last one we saw on this walk was in January 2008.
We had an a redtail almost at eye level at the second overlook. The water
level of the river is unseasonably low. All are welcome to join this
Sunday walk. It meets at 8:00 am in the visitor's center parking lot. --
