After further review, I now think that the Blue-headed Vireo was actually a
juvenile White-eyed Vireo.  They look similar, but the head did not seem quite
dark enough for Blue-headed. Unfortunately, I only had a quick look at the
bird, so I am still not certain.  I am still certain about the warblers, though.

Subject: [Va-bird] Huntley Meadows Hike/Bike: Black-throated Blue Warbler,
Blue-headed Vireo

I birded the back side (Telegraph Road entrance) of Huntley Meadows today
starting at 11:AM. I would normally expect only a little avian activity at this
time of day, but I was pleasantly surprised to find six warbler species in
various mixed foraging flocks: Black-throated Blue, American Redstart,
Magnolia,
Black and White, Chestnut-sided, and Common Yellowthroat. The meadow that can
be
accessed by turning left immediately before the observation platform was
especially birdy.  I also found a Blue-headed Vireo fighting with a Red-eyed
Vireo over what appeared to be a large moth. A House Wren, Great-crested
Flycatcher, and Indigo Bunting also put in appearances.  Various butterflies
and
dragonflies were plentiful.
