I checked nest boxes today along Huntley Meadows Hike-Bike Trail. It was so
slow today I began to feel depressed as I walked along the fairly quiet
landscape. However, I did hear a vocalizing Least Bittern off to my right as
I stood on the platform at the end of the Hike-Bike Trail. Nice bird for
Huntley. Nice bird anywhere.
