Hi All,
I'll post a write-up soon about the fantastic VSO Chincoteague trip this
past weekend, but meanwhile I wanted to alert you to a hot spot my husband
Lee and I found today on our way home. We had 28 species in one spot on
Custis Tomb Road (off Arlington Rd) in one hour (3-4pm) today. It was on the
4th curve of the road, with a wooded area on the right and cut corn field on
the left. There's a pull-off area on the right, adjacent to a utility pole.
We wished we had more eyes because there was so much bird activity on both
sides of the road! All of these birds were seen. Complete list is below.
