I think you might be on to something. The face patch makes me think it's a
Canada Goose at the core, perhaps a hybrid with a domestic goose?

That being said, I've never seen a Greater White Fronted Goose, but Cornell's
link has some photos that look similar.
It's a fun exercise on picking out key traits!
