It was on the east end of Swan's Cove this morning at about 10:30, actively
feeding, with a few Marbled Godwits.

I've not seen any postings on presence or absence of the bird since the
sightings on Sunday 3/24, so sending this note.
I called the refuge visitor center this morning and the helpful lady on the
other end of the wire checked the clipboard... again the latest sighting
posted was 3/24.
If anyone has any positive or negative reports since Sunday, would love to
hear from you.
Based on review of the previous posts, it appears the bird is seen within a
couple of hours of low tide. I looks like low will be between 5-6 p.m. this
weekend. Can anyone confirm if the bird is seen at all during higher water
(couple of hours on either side of high tide)? I assume that the tides noted
for the Chincoteague USCG station are reasonably close to the tides within
Tom's Cove/Little Tom's Cove, but if anyone is aware of any significant
differences, please let me know.
Thanks for any 411!
