Subject: [Va-bird] Red-necked Grebe at Lake Frederick (Frederick County)
At about 8:10 this morning I found a Red-necked Grebe on Lake Frederick in
Frederick County. Other birds on and around the lake included a single
Bonaparte's Gull (molting into alternate plumage), four Bufflehead, 20
Northern Rough-winged Swallows, and a slightly smaller number of Tree
Swallows.
