This is a very worthwhile post as feral swine incidence is on the increase as
populations become established in the southwestern and western regions of the
state. Pigs are damaging public lands dedicated to conservation in Lee and
other southwestern counties. If you know of anyone letting pigs run loose, turn
the fools in.

Subject: [Va-bird] Reporting Feral Swine
Greetings all.
This email is not about a rare bird but I feel everyone should add the
following number to their contact list for reporting Feral Swine that damages
habitat and will eat the eggs of ground nesting birds.
There was an ad in our local paper to call the number below to report any
sighting of either the swine or damage done by them.
Please call
VDGIF at their Virginia Wildlife Conflict helpline

Thank you and please share this info with others that might be hunters and not
birders that you know.
