Should mention that the photos include one of a pair of Orioles on a dead tree
together seen during the count

Subject: [Va-bird] Snow Bunting continues, plus Parasitic Jaeger and Cave
Swallow, Grandview Preserve, Hampton, 12/19/15

Hey all, Andrew Baldelli, Ken Lipshy, Pete Peterman, and Bill Williams
joined me this morning to walk the beach at Grandview Preserve for the
Newport News CBC.  Although fewer shorebirds and waterfowl present than most
years, we had a few highlights, including the continuing Snow Bunting that
flushed from the dune at Northend Point out to a rock jetty, a Parasitic
Jaeger harassing Bonaparte's Gulls in the Bay, and at least 1 Cave Swallow
foraging over the marsh just south of Northend Point.  Best,

Nick Flanders
Portsmouth, VA
