Larry/Tim:
I was at Huntley Meadows on Saturday evening and saw Woodcocks at the first
field to the left (the one with the scrubby pines in the middle). There were
three birds (possibly 4). I arrived at 6:20 (before DST) and they were
already going.

I was at Huntley Meadows last night, and Friday evening as well. The
Woodcocks are in the first field on the left. We (4 of us) watched several
Woodcocks flying, peenting, and chirping as they landed; it was an
impressive show. On Friday (3/7) the activity started at 6:15 PM, last
night at 7:15 PM. We watched for 30 minutes before leaving.
We saw the large group of birders, but could not determine where they went
after leaving the large field further up on the right. For those who want
to see and hear the Woodcocks; first field on left, be there by 7 PM. We
estimated 4-6 Woodcocks last night.
