Hi all:  On September 9th I heard an unusual double note bird call coming
from the cattails at Huntley meadows
in the early afternoon.  Basically all I have is this description.

There were only two notes, which basically were somewhat high pitched.
"Deet Deet"
The two notes were separated by about a second in time and the
former seemed to be of equal pitch
            as the latter.

After each double note there was a pause of about 20 seconds before
another double note, and
then the cycle would begin again.

To help narrow down the search, I do not think that this was a
Winter wren as I know that call.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
